Dear MQ Maestro quiz fans,
We are publishing another macro photo of a pebble for you. Macro photography means that the pebble is photographed (very) close. The pebble is photographed exactly as it is found in nature. Because a pebble is photographed close up, it may appear larger than it is in reality.
Take a good look at the pebble. What motif do you find on it? What do you see?
If you like, you can email us at prometej (info@prometej.si) to tell us which motif you see on the pebble. We would be delighted to hear from you.
In our next post, we will let you know which motif we see on this pebble.
The motif that we see on the pebble published earlier is a kitten:
We are also organising a funny, unique game titled “I’m Nick“, for children, young people, adults and for the young at heart. It features pebbles, Nick’s friends, that you see in the photos.
You are also very welcome to pick up your own copy of the adorable book of associations titled “I’m Nick“.
The playful book of associations, titled “I’m Nick“, is intended for all generations, especially children aged 8 and above. The main goals of the book are:
– to bring children back to nature (away from mobile phones, television, and videogames), to remind them of the beauty, the uniqueness, and the majesty of nature in things such as ordinary pebbles which may have escaped their notice (searching for photogenic pebbles can be a passion and a pastime as well; all of these things spread like wildfire, and one can often find peculiar pebbles nearby)
– to bring out, nurture, and foster a sense of control over their own perception of their surroundings in children, as well as a sense of recognising patterns, since they would each identify different silhouettes in the stones (furthermore, it is crucial to let children know that each thing they perceive and recognise is correct).
You can get a free preview of the book in a few pages (the whole book is 52 pages) by writing to us, or you can buy the whole book by typing “Amazon Books” into Google and then typing (into the white rectangle) that appears above:
– “Jaz sem Nik: Knjižica navihanih kamenčkov” for the book in Slovenian (or click on the web link Jaz sem Nik)
– “I’m Nick: A playful pebble’s activity book” for a book in English (or click on the web link I’m Nick).

Nick’s story goes something like this:
Each stone has a story and face of its own. We have been collecting different pebbles and cobbles carefully and meticulously for over 17 years, and have arranged them in the authored playful book of associations which we have titled “I’m Nick” (and subtitled “A playful pebble’s activity book”).
In the book, a photo of each stone is presented in the exact condition in which it was discovered in nature. Neither paint, corrections, nor editing software has been used to change its face in any way. This is meant to allow readers to recognise patters on the faces of the stones purely on the basis of their imagination.
We have not seen the concept such as the authored book of associations, titled “I’m Nick“, used anywhere in the world. We have thus entered the book into the Register of protected author’s works, run by the Copyright Agency of Slovenia, webpage https://aas.si/en/home/, on January 4th 2023, under entry R – 001/23 (see attachment 2 below).
